Probably the music industry's best kept secret, IST saw its first
release in March 1993 and now boasts a catalogue of almost 100 titles.
Created for purveyors of experimental music, IST promotes works from a range of both established & new producers including Artists such as Frederico Franchi (Zenith), Frederick Almquist (RND Technologies), Somatic Responses (John Healy & Paul Healy), Nebula ll (Tony Thomas), DJ Torgull, John Selway, Oliver Chesler, Cirillo, Kay D Smith, and Manu Le Malin who produced M18 with hit makers Daft Punk for IST011.
Thru the years, IST has had its tracks licensed across a wide range of compilations such as the highly acclaimed 'Mrs. Wood & Blu Peter DJ Mix' compilation through React Music, the 'Trancecore' series through Omnisonous in Europe, 'Art of France' and 'Biomechanik' both done by the French label F-Communications (the third installment out through Uncivilised World France). We have also licensed tracks to Sony Records for their 'Technoparade' compilation, done in conjunction with the Parisian Techno Parade event -an event that draws in crowds of over 500,000.
IST releases retain a unique quality unaffected by the passing of time or music trends.
